At Shunya, caring for indigenous cows is seen as an important part of preserving the cultural and ecological roots of our land. Indigenous breeds are deeply connected to our way of life—they are not just livestock, but a living part of our heritage.
In our tradition, cows are revered and cared for with devotion. They are not seen as just animals, but as a sacred presence in many households, holding a special place in daily life and practices.
Inspired by the efforts of His Holiness Dr. Mahant Prabhu Swamiji, this initiative focuses on protecting and nurturing these native breeds, ensuring they are cared for with respect and responsibility.
There is also a growing awareness around the benefits of indigenous cow products like milk and ghee, which, when used in a balanced way, support a healthy lifestyle.
Through this effort, we aim to protect what is natural to our land, while encouraging a more conscious and rooted way of living.
